About me
My name is Veronika Buck Valentova and this is my portfolio website where you will find my favorite designs I have done for now. It is from what I have done freelancing as well as from my jobs.
I am currently employed full time as a graphic designer but still am working on a more personal level as a freelancer in my free time (My design services are currently available for hire). I specialize in the fields of corporate identity (logo) design, print design (ie. letterhead, business cards, posters, flyers, advertisements, brochures, annual reports, book avers etc.) and lately web design aswell.
In August 2008, I moved from Prague, Czech Republic to Portland, Oregon, USA to try to live in different country and also to begin my freelancing. After almost a while I decided to returned back to Prague and begin to study at University of Tomas Bata in Zlin, Czech Republic at the Faculty of Multimedia communications specializing in Graphic design to get my Bachelor degree. In spite of all these things, I would really like to return to Portland to find steady employment.
SHORT BIO
| 2009 – | Moved from Portland, Oregon to Prague, CZ where I have been working at a graphic studio called Lemon design for 10 months and began to study at the University of Tomas Bata in Zlin, CZ at the Faculty of Multimedia communications with a specialization in Graphic design |
| 2008 – | Moved from Prague, CZ to Portland, Oregon, USA, lived and worked there as a freelancer for 11 months. |
| 2007 – | Returned from Liberec, CZ to Prague and worked at graphic atelier Kroll for a year. |
| 2006 – | Lived and worked at an advertising company called Prestige Management in Liberec, CZ |
| 2005 – | Study at language school and received my First Certificate in English |
| 2004 – | Graduated and received my High School Certificate |
| 2000 – | Began studying at a graphic high school, specializing in polygraphy. |
